Corporate Build Events

Improve accessibility with your team and colleagues, one assistive device at a time

Overview

Empower your company to make a direct impact in your community and bring a build event to your workplace. Neil Squire’s Makers Making Change program has delivered over 25,000 assistive devices to Canadians with disabilities, thanks in part to corporate volunteer teams.

Hosting a corporate build event is a paid engagement, covering the costs of the build and supporting our program on an ongoing basis. We’ll guide your team every step of the way as they make these much-needed devices — a great team-building activity where you’ll truly make a difference.

And the best part is that the devices you build are donated directly to people with disabilities and clinics in your community.

“It’s always been really challenging to find organizations that have the capacity to host a large group of volunteers. It was so easy for [Makers Making Change] to come and set everything up. From a partner’s perspective, it was a dream.”

Andrea, Collective Social Responsibility & Engagement Advisor
