How To Use The Wishbook
Welcome to the wishbook for the 2026 Hacking for the Holidays, presented by Air Canada Foundation.
This guide features switch-adapted toys and switches available for request as a family or organization in Canada. Some devices have limited availability and we aim to match each requestor to their top choices. The wishbook closes mid November, with devices ready before the holidays.
Located Outside of Canada?

For those who want a switch-adapted toy that combines light and movement, the Switch Adapted Spinning Light Wand is a fast-spinning toy with multi-colored lights that is sure to grab your attention.
Hippo Bubble Machine
This bubble machine is a grey hippo! When activated, bubbles will come out of the hippo's mouth. This toy requires 1 switch.
Bluey Musical Bubble Machine
This Bluey Musical Bubble Machine has been adapted so it can be activated using 1 assistive switch. With a press of a switch, users can independently use the toy to blow bubbles and play music.
Stitch Coconut Musical Bubble Machine
This Stitch Coconut Musical Bubble Machine has been adapted so it can be activated using 1 assistive switch. With a press of a switch, users can independently use the toy to blow bubbles and play music.
RC Police and Race Car
This toy features 2 remote control cars, one police car and one race car. Each remote has switch adaptions - one for making the car go forward and one for backwards and turn. This toy uses 2 switches.
Jellyfish Lava Lamp
When activated, this lamp will have lights that change colours and a gentle motor that moves around the jellyfish - causing the look of jellyfish swimming. This toy uses 1 switch.
Volcano Lava Lamp
When activated, this lamp will have lights that change colours and a gentle motor that moves around beads in the lamp. This toy uses 1 switch.
Playday Bump N Go Bubble Dino
This Playday Bump N Go Bubble Dino has been adapted so it can be activated using 1 assistive switch. With a press of a switch, users can independently use the toy to blow bubbles and make the dinosaur roar and walk around.
Light Projector
A switch adapted toy that uses up to 3 assistive switches to light up and project different pictures onto walls and ceilings. There are multiple versions of this toy with different designs, including: moon & stars, superheroes, unicorns, or ocean designs.
Fisher-Price Flap and Wobble Penguin Plush
This soft penguin toy can stand on its own and when activated, music will play with the penguin moving their arms and causing the penguin to do a wobble motion. Toy uses 1 switch.
Fisher-Price Calming Vibes Hedgehog Plush
This plush toy features music and vibrations when activated. Toy has an internal switch with modes of music, music+vibration, and vibration. Toy is adapted via mono cable and uses 1 switch.

Talking Bluey Plush
This is Talking Bluey! This toy says a variety of phrases and songs when activated and is adapted via a mono cable. This toy uses 1 switch.
Leapfrog My Pal Violet Plush
This plush adapted toy will sing bedtime music, introduce words, animals and play musical activities. This toy uses four switches.
Paint Spin Art Machine
A switch adapted spin art machine allows users to independently create colorful artwork through accessible switch activation, supporting creativity, engagement, and cause-and-effect learning.
Ark Miido Dinosaur Race Track Toy
A Dinosaur Race Track adapted so it can be activated using 1 assistive switch. With a press of a switch, users can independently activate the race track and make the dinosaurs move around the track.
Retro Fan
This toy is a traditional fan. When activated, the fan will turn on and spin, creating a motion of air. The fan comes in light green and blue. This toy requires 1 switch.
Ms. Rachel Speak & Sing Doll
This plush Ms. Rachel toy has been adapted so it can be activated using two assistive switches. With a press of a switch, users can independently play a variety of Ms. Rachel’s songs and phrases.

Fisher-Price Link Squad Opposites Fox
This hard shelled fox toy sings about colours and opposites. This toy will sync and light up to other link squad toys! This toy uses one 3.5 mm assistive switch.
Fisher-Price Wake Up and Learn Coffee Mug
This cute coffee mug has two buttons reading ABC and 123. When pressed, the mug lights up and makes noises, like songs and counting. This toy is bilingual and uses 2 switches.
Dora The Explorer Bananas for Boots Plush
This toy is Boots from Dora the Explorer. When activated, Boots will say a phrase or sing a song. This toy is adapted with a mono cable and uses one switch.
Monster Jam El Toro Loco RC Monster Truck
The Monster Jam El Toro Loco Monster Truck is a 1:24 scale wireless remote control monster truck! It moves forward and backward, and can turn its wheels left and right.
Spark Create Imagine Peek-a-Boo Koala / Elephant
This plush toy is an animal who plays peek-a-boo with you! There are two different versions of this toy, either a koala or an elephant. When activated, the toy will sing and talk, and moves to play peek-a-boo. This toy uses two 3.5 mm assistive switches.
Talking Bingo Plush
This plush toy is Talking Bingo, from the Bluey TV show! When activated, Bingo will talk and music plays. This toy uses 1 switch.
Play Day Dancing Chick Bubble Blower
This bubble machine is a dancing yellow chick! When activated, bubbles will come out of the chick's mouth and it will flap its wings and move around. This toy requires 1 switch.
Monster Jam Megalodon RC Monster Truck
The Switch Adapted Monster Jam Megalodon RC Monster Truck is a 1:24 scale wireless remote control monster truck! It moves forward and backward, and can turn its wheels left and right.
Air Hogs Zero Gravity RC Car
The Switch Adapted Air Hogs Zero Gravity RC Cart is a wireless remote control car that can climb the walls! It moves forward and backward, and can turn its wheels left and right.
Placo Toys Fruit Bubble Blower
This bubble machine is in the shape of fruit, and comes in two varieties: a strawberry or a pineapple! When the switch is held down, it will make a stream of bubbles. This toy requires 1 switch.
ZURU XSHOT Motor Soaker Water Gun
This electric water gun has been adapted so it can be activated using 1 assistive switch. With a press of a switch, users can independently use the toy to shoot water.
Tornado Lamp
When activated, this lamp will have lights that change colours and a gentle motor that causes a tornado effect. This toy uses 1 switch.
Light Touch Switch
A lightweight, finger-width assistive switch.
MMC60 Switch
If you're looking for an assistive switch that's tough and low-cost, the MMC60 Switch might just be the solution for you.
Raindrop Switch
If you need a small, affordable assistive switch, the Raindrop Switch offers a nickel-sized solution for cost-effective control of assistive devices.
Open Rocker Switch
For assistive switch users looking for a low-profile switch with two inputs the Open Rocker Switch can connect to switch-accessible devices through a standard mono cable.
Low Profile Switch
If you struggle with the height of traditional assistive switches, the Low Profile Switch is a low-force assistive switch with a large activation area and minimal height so you can operate assistive devices with a limited range of motion.
Interact Switch
If you need a customizable assistive switch with a large activation area, the Interact Switch with its many different topper designs might just be the low-cost solution for you.
Playback Switch
An assistive switch the plays back a pre-recorded message or sound when activated.
Simple Switch Tester
