Print Components for Community Events

One of the primary ways Makers Making Change delivers assistive tech is through community build events. Devices built at the events are donated directly to individuals, organizations, and hospitals by MMC staff. However, running these events requires a lot of 3D printing beforehand — that’s where we need your help.

If you have an idle 3D printer and are located in Canada, become a MMC Certified Printer and print device components for our build events. Makers choose how many parts to print within a time frame and drop off them at the nearest MMC office. We understand that volunteers are generously donating their time and materials to print components, and we appreciate contributions of any size.

The 3D Print Jobs are available in five locations across Canada: Burnaby, Calgary, Toronto, Fredericton, and Halifax.
