Secure Rolling Table Mount for an Eye-Gaze Communication Device

The primary user is a High School Life Skills student who uses a wheelchair and an eye-gaze communication device. Teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, or caregivers may also interact with the mounting system to position, secure, or adjust the device.
Intended Use
The mount will be used in a school Life Skills classroom during daily educational and functional activities. The student may use the eye-gaze device for communication, making choices, completing assignments, accessing instructional materials, and interacting with teachers and classmates. The rolling table needs to remain mobile so staff can position it appropriately in relation to the student's wheelchair. Once the table is in position, the eye-gaze device should remain securely mounted and properly aligned with the student. The system should be designed for frequent daily use and should tolerate normal classroom movement and repositioning. Safety is a priority: the mount should have a secure locking mechanism, should not create sharp or protruding hazards, and should not interfere with wheelchair access or the student's ability to approach the table.
Description
The design should be adjustable to accommodate the Life Skills student's seated position and the eye-gaze device. Ideally, the system would allow adjustments in height, forward/backward position, and viewing angle so the device can be aligned with the student's eyes. The mount should remain rigid once positioned but be simple enough for staff to adjust when necessary.
