Overview

The accessible periodic table display is an educational tool to learn the elements in Braille and sign language. The display includes 118 chemical elements plus two tiles representing the actinide and lanthanide series. Each tile measures 5" x 5", for a total display size of 4ft by 8ft.

How To Use

This period table encourages people to physically interact with the display to learn the Braille and sign language of each element.

People with low vision or are blind who can read Braille, or those who communicate in sign language may like using this display. It is also a great tool for families and teachers.

Build Instructions

Put together the element tile and the base tile, then adhere it to a wall with double sided tape.


The tiles should not be scaled due to the size of standard Braille. It is recommended to print the models in two colours for proper colour contrast.
