Overview

Traditional systems for mounting assistive devices are expensive. This 3D print is a mounting adapter for connecting the commercially available Adaptivation Honeybee Proximity Switch to inexpensive camera mounts that use ¼"-20 threading.


This adapter was designed by ATMakers.

How To Use

Screw a 1/4″-20 t-nut from the inside of the adapter until fully seated. Pro tip: use a 1/4"-20 screw from the outside to install the t-nut.


Slide the Honeybee Proximity Switch into the mounting adapter and attach to a camera mount.

Disability Type Description

Switch users who have movement-limiting disabilities like spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and ALS may find this device useful for their wheelchair setup.
